This program introduces the basic concepts of enriched air diving, explains the basis for the limits and restrictions of use and enables those certified as ANDI SafeAir Sport Diver to receive the full benefits of breathing cleaner gas and enhanced safety. Covers the information necessary to make use of 6 of the 8 ANDI-identified applications of SafeAir within sport diving limits. Those completing this course are certified to use SafeAir 32% and 36% only. This program requires 4-7 hours of lecture and two open water orientation / training dives (one required, two strongly recommended).
Pre-requisite: All divers in training may enroll in this course. No prerequisites required. The student must be Jr-OW certified prior to ANDI LSU-Jr certification. Must dive with a parent or instructor per requirements of their agencies standards for Jr. OW.
